Almost 35 Weeks!

It feels like these last four weeks are going to be crawling by...I'm SO tired, and hurt all over...but we're SOOOO excited! Walker has had the past two weeks off and we've been working constantly on the baby's room..and I have to say, it's soooo adorable now. We're just now starting to hang things up on the wall...Here's a few pictures, but I need to take some from an actual camera..these are just some taken from my phone. I love her bedding...

And here's a picture of the quilt my sister, Natalie, got for her. It says "Olivia Kate Dawson" at the bottom...Also, notice we've already mounted the camera that goes with our video monitor! We're ready!

I'm relieved that the twin bed fits nicely in the room since that will be my bed for quite some time! We figured climbing stairs after a c-section wouldn't be so great...and since Walker will be returning to work after a week, he deserves some sleep..so Olivia and I will be downstairs until she's sleepin' somewhat decently.

Otherwise, everything with the baby is looking good! As usual, she's measuring bigger...at the 34 week appointment she was measuring 36 weeks. Dr. Caplan is guessing that she will be somewhere in the eight pound range...which actually sounds good to me. Everyone in Walker's family was OVER nine pounds so I was expecting the worst! Olivia has the hiccups constantly, and doesn't seem to appreciate when I lay on my sides at night and cramp the little space she has left...and she definitely lets me know it...so, I've come to absolutely dread bed time. It means tossing and turning all night. But, I know it's worth it and I'm so excited that I seem to be functioning on no sleep! We'll see how long that lasts.

More pictures to come soon.

Welcome!

We were married in July of 2008 and welcomed our daughter in January of 2009. It has been a crazy first year of marriage, but we wouldn't change it to for the world. We have been blessed beyond measure!
