Baby Dawson at Ten Weeks

I had my second OB appointment yesterday, July 18. Thank goodness, everything is looking fantastic! I feel very blessed to be friends with my OBGYN and her medical assistants, because they spoil me with ultrasounds every time I come in...they always schedule me as the last appointment of the day so that we can check the baby out...It was SO exciting because I got to see the baby moving around, twisting and turning and flailing it's little arms and legs. It made it realllllly real!

It's amazing how much the baby grows within such a short time period. It seems like just yesterday the baby looked like some kind of shrimp like creature...now, it looks like a human! We just can't wait to find out what the baby is!! The heart rate of the baby was the exact same as last time-176 bpm...which according to some people means it's a girl...apparently fast heart rates indicate a girl, whereas slower heart rates indicate a boy...I, however, have a hunch that it's a boy...and Walker wants a girl! Regardless, we'll be more than happy with a healthy baby.
