Fifteen Weeks and Counting..

So, I apologize for not updating our blog as often as I should...I've still been pretty sick, and not feeling like doing anything...But I finally feel like I'm getting some energy so hopefully I'll be more viligant about updates.

As of yesterday, August 20, I am officially fifteen weeks and it shows!! Today I had to make an emergency run to Target simply because I had zero shirts that didn't expose my growing belly. I'm finally feeling a little more confident now that I actually look pregnant...just a couple of weeks ago I merely looked like I had been eating way too much...I kept getting a look from people as if they were wondering whether I was pregnant, or just fat...pretty funny...

As far as the baby goes, everything looks perfect. Two weeks ago was my last OB appointment, and I got spoiled with pretty much an hour long ultrasound. We ended up with about thirty photos!! Dr. Caplan felt 95 percent sure that she saw boy parts...but we're waiting until our 18 week ultrasound until we start buying all things blue! It's hard to believe that that is only three weeks away...and before we know it the pregnancy will be half way over! But, it was so neat to see all the little fingers and toes...they're so tiny and perfect...it always surprises me how much a few weeks means as far as changes in the baby goes...

Everyone always asks if I've had cravings...but I'd say that I have more aversions to certain foods than cravings. Meat has sounded absolutely horrible..and I have to force myself to eat chicken for protein....even then, it's only a couple of bites. I haven't been too fond of anything sweet either. Cheese, frozen grapes, and salt and vinegar chips have been some of my favorites...But it changes daily, if not hourly! I've actually sent Walker out to get something then called him fifteen minutes later to tell him I didn't want it anymore...he's been so wonderful.

So...here are a few pictures from the last ultrasound...

Welcome!

We were married in July of 2008 and welcomed our daughter in January of 2009. It has been a crazy first year of marriage, but we wouldn't change it to for the world. We have been blessed beyond measure!
